The spiritual and temporal Head of over a million Dawoodi Bohra Muslims, His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (TUS) is the 53rd Dai al-Mutlaq – Vicegerent and Representative of the Imam on earth who is in seclusion. His Holiness encompasses piety, devotion, sincerity, patriotism and servitude to the cause of Islam and humanity. Syedna is regarded as the Ambassador of Peace and Goodwill. He has made rich contributions by promoting international harmony and fostering multilateral ties amongst nations of the world. The Dawoodi Bohras community traces its spiritual heritage from Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his vasi Amirul Momineen Moulana Ali (AS), son-in-law of the Prophet, and continuing through their successors, the Imams, who functioning first from Madinah, spread over to North Africa and Egypt in succeeding centuries.
